Applications are invited for an Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow position in the NYU Center for Bioethics, Faculty of Arts and Science. The initial appointment will be for one year beginning September 1, 2014, pending administrative and budgetary approval. The appointment is renewable for an additional two years subject to performance, the needs of the Center, and available funding. An applicant should have a strong interest in and preferably have written and taught in areas of bioethics and/or public health ethics and policy and have completed the Ph.D. no more than three years before the application date.
Duties will include each year two graduate courses in the Bioethics MA Program and an undergraduate medical ethics course, as well as participation in the seminars, conferences, and other projects of the Center.
